Best Crypto Wallets 2024

Here I review 10 different crypto hardware wallets showing their cost, fees, supported coins, security features and a lot more.

1. Tangem wallet

Tangem is one of the cheapest wallets on the market. The wallet is also one of my favorites due to it being the easiest to setup and use. Tangem does not uses seed phrases but instead have the private key in the actual card itself. So when we order a tangem wallet we get multiple cards. The only way to keep our crypto safe is to make sure we keep the tangem cards since the private key is inside them. Due to this being a physical security feature, I think this is a safer option compared with seed phrases. Since tangem wallet is the easiest to use, cheap, have great coin/network support I very much like tangem.

2. Safepal X1 and Safepal S1 Pro

These are the cheapest crypto wallets. We connect the safepal wallets to our phone using bluetooth and handle them from there. Their wallets uses seed phrases. These wallets have support for most coins/blockchains and low transaction fees. These wallets are actually really good and I would consider using one.

3. Trezor Safe 3

The Trezor safe 3 is quite cheap and a seed phrase based wallet. To use this wallet we connect it to our computer and use it through a Trezor program. Trezor is one of those traditional wallets were they do not have the best coin or network support. However, the company Trezor have been around for long and is therefore reliable.

4. Cypherock X1

This wallet is made of five parts. Four cards and one X1 Vault. We need to have at least one card and the X1 vault to be able to access our cards. So it's meant that we place the other cards in other locations, to spread out the risk of something happening to them. So this wallet does not use seed phrases. The actual physical devices are the keys to our crypto. Everything regarding setup worked great. Cypherock are still early in their development phase and do not have the broadest support for tokens and blockchains yet. However they support the most common ones. However, since the private key is stored in the physical cards itself, I think this form of wallet is safer than the wallets that utilize seed phrases.

5. Onekey wallets

Onekey wallets are quite simple and easy to use. We connect them to our phone using bluetooth. The wallets support most coins and blockchains we can think of and we can add tokens manually. Some of their wallets are the cheapest wallets we can get on the market. And they are still able to do the same thing as all others. Had quite a good experience using their wallet.

6. D'CENT wallet

The D’cent wallet have a bit of a plastic feel to it. It is connected and managed through bluetooth to our phone. Their wallet have support for most coins/networks out there. The swapping feature was a bit un-traditional, but other than that it worked ok.

7. Ellipal Titan 2

Big bulky wallet that is 100% air gapped. That means that we verify all transactions using QR code scanning. Ellipal wallets have support for quite a lot of tokens but we can't add more manually just yet. This is a seed phrase wallet. This wallet is too expensive and too flashy for me.

8. Keystone 3 Pro

This wallet is made to be used in combination with other software wallets, like metamask. Everything is done through QR-code scanning due to the wallet being completely sealed. This is a seed phrase wallet. The touch screen is nice and flashy. Keystone have 3 element chips in this which is unique since most wallets only have 1. So on paper they might be the safest wallet. But I would not get such a flashy wallet, I would rather keep the functions limited and go for something cheaper as well.

9. SecuX wallet

The Secux V20 have toutch scree and supports quite a lot of coins. I do think this wallet is quite bulky and unneesesarry. I think there are other better wallets out there.

10. Ledger nano x

Ledger Nano X is one of the most used crypto wallets. Due to Ledger being so known and been around for so long, their wallets are reliable. However, the usage of this wallet can be quite complicated for new users coming into crypto. I therefore think ledger wallets are some of the most complicated wallets to use. However, since they have been around for so long I think Ledger wallets are some of the safer wallets.

The crypto wallet with the most supported coins

It is either Oneykey, Tangem or Safepal that supports the most coins. With these wallets we are also able to add other crypto tokens as well. So we can in theory add how many we want.

Best crypto wallet for beginners

The best crypto wallet for beginners is the Tangem wallet. That is because the Tangem wallet is easy to setup and use. This wallet makes it so simply to use and at the same time provides great security.

safepal staking

Best hardware wallet 2024 for long storage

The best hardware wallet I think is Ledger or Trezor, simply because those companies have been around for so long and therefore have proven reliability.

Most safe crypto wallet

The safest wallet I think is the Cypherock X1 or Tangem wallet. The reason is becuase they do not need seed phrases, which I think just becomes and extra risk. Those two wallets are also the most physically safest wallets and can withstand water, dust and being dropped etc.

What crypto wallet is the best 2024

For me it comes down to Safepal X1 or Tangem. Safepal X1 got everything you need within their app and the wallet only cost $30. But I personally don’t swap, stake or earn using a wallet app. I only do those things directly on chain so I wont utilize those features that much. So for me it’s going to be Tangem as I prioritize security and ease of use a bit more.
